The corona pandemic affects the whole society and also the Helsinki Chamber Choir. Our Klang concert in March was cancelled at the last minute and our Maria concert in May is cancelled as well. We try to give these concerts later, if possible. As for our summer engagements, we are waiting for more information.
During the time we can’t sing together neither perform, we will publish some music on our YouTube channel. For Easter you can enjoy some Arvo Pärt and on Wednesday 15th of April we will start a small Gesualdo Festival, were we release one Gesualdo madrigal each day during 10 days.
Our YouTube channel is found here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCH8QSYEvug7xsIO9_-_VqTw

The performers will include, for example, Anu Komsi, Castalian String Quartet, Tami Pohjola, Aki Rissanen Trio, Sergey Malov, Finnish Baroque Orchestra, Essi Höglund, Awake Percussion, Taavi Oramo, Elina Vähälä, Helsinki Chamber Choir, Senja Rummukainen, defunensemble, Tytti Arola, Tölöläb & Elifantree, Jukka Perko and the children’s music orchestra FlipFlop. In addition to the music, there will also be speeches, yoga and a programme for children.
