For the first time, the Helsinki Chamber Choir performs as a whole in one of its regular chamber concerts at St Thomas’ Church. Matthew Whittall’s powerful and meditative work for choir and percussion contrasts with Perttu Haapanen’s playful yet serious look at the various meanings of Lewis Carroll’s Alice. Percussionist Antti Suoranta completes the programme with contrasting works for solo cymbal and marimba.
Free admission, programme 10€

I can truly say from my experience of working with many professional choirs that this choir belongs to the top.
